Sète is at a night's sail away from the major turnaround ports. Ships are berthed in ideal and secure conditions. The cruise terminal is ISPS certified and situated at a five or ten-minute walk from the main canal, the town center, the covered market and other places of interest. Sète is called "l'île singulière" (the unique island). It's a genuine, colorful Mediterranean town, with a very original atmosphere coming from its canals, its fishing port, its blend of French, Italian and Spanish cultures.

For the shore excursions, a dedicated fenced in parking can receive a dozen coaches just in front of the Terminal. Sète’s geographical position gives access to 5 UNESCO World Heritage sites. The port is the natural gateway to Carcassonne, but also to a number of historical or natural sites. Day or half-day tours are proposed to Montpellier, Nîmes, Aigues-Mortes, Pézenas, Canal du Midi, Languedoc vineyards and "châteaux", to cite only those.

Sète is the ideal port for small or medium-sized ships, offering high class cruises to demanding passengers willing to stay away from beaten tracks and congested ports, and who are in search of new destinations, exclusivity, and special touch. Sète is a unique experience and a must on the "niche" market of small, boutique ports.

But no only: the port can now welcome the largest ships at the brand new “H” berth, offering new guests the opportunity to discover the charm and authenticity of Sete.
