Intercruises is an experienced global business offering turnaround, shore excursion, hotel program and port operations services to the ocean and river cruise industry. Cruise specialist teams handle all vessel, guest and crew needs, before, during and after a ship’s time in port.

All Intercruises teams worldwide are supported by a central team comprised of specialist in-house departments, including Business Processes, IT, Commercial Analysis, Finance, Health & Safety, Marketing & Communications, Product & Operations Support and Sustainability.

Intercruises supports cruise lines through strong industry relationships, high quality service standards, global resources and strict corporate governance, including advanced Health & Safety procedures and an ongoing commitment to sustainable practices.

Intercruises is an Official Partner of Travelife, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainable practices within the travel and tourism industry, and is also an Active Participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), a principle based framework dedicated to the implementation of better business practices, primarily in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption.

In 2018, Intercruises offset 263 tons of CO2 emissions collaborating with the Madre de Dios Project in Peru and also signed the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism in association with the UNWTO, the key reference for responsible and sustainable tourism.

Intercruises has created in-house systems to better serve the cruise industry, including a custom staff scheduling tool and SafeAshore, an award winning shore excursion safety system. Intercruises is an award winning business, having received numerous accolades relating to service quality and innovation, including being the most successful business in the history of the Seatrade Innovative Shorex Award, as a three time Winner and three time Runner Up, as well as a two time Wave Award winner.

History

Intercruises was founded in 2003 with a vision of ensuring cruise lines consistently received high quality ground handling and port agency support. The business started with a single cruise line client in the Port of Barcelona, but since then has grown to deliver operations to almost all major and niche cruise lines, with a global coverage encompassing every continent and over 400 sea ports worldwide.
