Although it covers 1% of the oceans’ surface area, the Mediterranean Sea generates about 20% of the gross marine product and remains one of the areas of the Planet with the most extraordinary biodiversity.
In recent years, concerning Ecosystems & Sustainability, I believe that these issues are increasingly central to the strategy of all ports and port cities.
As the most important Cruise Port Association in the Mediterranean and its adjacent seas, I believe that we should contribute and implement concrete and visible actions to protect the health of our sea, coasts and marine ecosystems and to preserve it for future generations.
Our collaboration and commitment to achieving this crucial goal are vital to our future.
