DP World Limassol is a multipurpose terminal operator at Limassol Port, engaging in activities such as handling break-bulk, general cargo, Ro-Ro, oil & gas services, and operating a newly built passenger terminal. They provide a secure and responsible environment for cruise itineraries in the eastern Mediterranean and worldwide. The new 7,000 sq m passenger terminal started operations in July 2017, offering a range of services with high efficiency. With a draft of up to 11m and favorable weather conditions year-round, the Port of Limassol is prepared for its cruise role in the region.

History

DP World is a global trade facilitator with HQ in Dubai and an EU office in London. It operates various businesses, including terminals, maritime services, logistics, and technology-driven trade solutions. With 78 terminals in 40 countries, it has a strong presence in high-growth and mature markets. DP World’s Hamdan bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal in Dubai is the world’s largest covered cruise facility, handling 14,000 passengers daily. In 2016, DP World took over the multi-purpose terminal in Limassol, Cyprus, offering diverse opportunities for excursions and visits to vibrant Limassol or the scenic Troodos mountains with their picturesque villages and wineries.
