Terminales del Atlántico Medio

Main information

Having developed a multitude of services in each of the ports, TAM mission is to adapt its service offering to the needs of each location, also depending on the commercial space available. The driving force behind the business is the operation of Duty Free Shops, which combine high-demand international products from the tobacco, alcohol and perfume families with local products that give meaning to each place, such as souvenirs, food, wines and typical handicrafts.

All of these elements combine to transform TAM stores into optimal and highly attractive spaces, allowing for the provision of additional services such as currency exchange, sale of telephone cards, parapharmacy products, tourist information points, tastings of local products, and dedicated areas exclusively for crew members

History

The business group has been linked to cruise ports since 1992, starting in Barcelona, where the headquarters are located, and growing hand in hand with the progress of the sector, Terminales del Atlántico Medio (TAM hereinafter) is also present in the cruise terminals of Malaga, Cadiz, Vigo, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Santa Cruz de La Palma, Lisbon and Ponta Delgada (Azores). Currently operates more than 30 stores (16 of which are bonded warehouses) and provides commercial services to more than 5 million cruise passengers, being its model demonstrably exportable.

Philosophy

Wherever TAM goes, we like to create teams of local people and work hand in hand with the Port Authority and/or the company managing the terminal. Our goal is to adapt and modernize services and the commercial offerings for cruise passengers visiting these locations.
