History
Suncruise Andalucía, composed of the Andalusian Ports belonging to Ports of Spain system Algeciras, Almería, Cádiz, Huelva, Málaga, Motril and Sevilla, was born with the aim to promote the region’s Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts as Smart Cruise Port and experiential cruise destination in Southern Spain.
Our commitment is to connect the seven ports and the provinces that make up the region with Europe and the rest of the world, through a program that strengthens the link between cruise tourism and the destination.
Thanks to institutional, business and citizen collaboration, we will achieve an Andalusian cruise itinerary: accessible, connected and sustainable.

Suncruise Andalucía is an Association composed of the Andalusian Ports belonging to Ports of Spain system, with the aim to promote Andalucía as a cruise tourism destination.
Tourism via sea in our region, with a million passengers a year, represents a perfect symbiosis between destination and cruise passengers. Our visitors are immersed in endless authentic experiences, enjoying a unique cultural, heritage, natural, monumental and gastronomic wide ranging wealth, able to satisfy all the requests of the existing tourist market. All this, in addition, in a tested safe environment. Not surprisingly, our region is nowadays the destination with the highest tourist demand in the world.
The Andalusian ports (Málaga, Cádiz, Sevilla, Motril – Granada –, Huelva, Almería and Algeciras) and Ceuta are the gateways to a region committed to working closely to foster cruise tourism, as well as providing the most pleasant stay for all visitors willing to know our area.
