On Monday, 17/10/2022, the Alexandria Port Authority received the cruise ship MEIN SCHIFF.6 coming from the Turkish port of Antalya, carrying 3125 Pax, including 2,206 tourists and 919 crew members of different nationalities whom spent a memorable day visiting great Egyptian touristic sightseeing, in a perfect weather.
This comes within the framework of the successful integrated program for the year 2022 to attract cruise ships to the Alexandria Port Authority, extending from March 2022 to December of the same year, which includes 30 cruise trips.
in addition to the port authority’s raising the level of readiness at the tourist passenger terminal and its docks to receive tourist trips and prepared all the necessary equipment to ensure the ability Dealing with the increasing number of tourists visiting the port, as cruise ship frequency and tourist numbers which starting to rise with the fall season, which is one of the main seasons for cruise ship calling to the Egyptian Ports.
It is noteworthy that the Maltese cruise ship, which docked to the cruise terminal berths at the Alexandria Port Authority, was received by a number of prominent leaders of the Alexandria Port Authority, the Regional Authority for Tourism Promotion and Port’s security.
