BC Cruise Services, the company specialising in providing tourist services for cruise ships, which is part of Alsa, has received the Best Global Tour Operator 2025 award by MSC Cruises.
This global award recognises the creativity, dedication and impact of the shore excursions offered by BC Cruise Services to MSC Cruises passengers, who have highly rated the Spanish tour operator’s shore experiences.
The Awards Ceremony of the MSC Shorexcellence Awards was held on board the MSC World Europa docked in the port of Barcelona, during a ceremony that brought together tour operators from around the world.
Marialuisa Laccarino, VP Shore Excursions, MSC Cruises, along the captain and the hotel manager of MSC World Europa, presented the award to Mark Robinson, managing director of BC Cruise Services.
Marialuisa Laccarino said that “a truly remarkable experience continues ashore and the excursions designed by our partners add depth, authenticity, and emotion to the journey, and help our guests connect with local cultures and communities”.
Mark Robinson thanked the award and highlighted that “it is a great encouragement for the entire BC Cruises Services team and motivates us to continue working in the future with even greater commitment and dedication to offer MSC Cruises guests memorable experiences on land as an essential part of their journey”.
Each year, the MSC Shorexcellence Awards recognise the best contributions made by its global shore excursion partners to the guest experience. On this occasion, the Best Global Tour Operator award presented to BC Cruise Services was intended to recognise consistent customer satisfaction and the strength of a partnership based on shared values and operational excellence.
BC Cruise Services is a long-standing excursion partner of MSC Cruises, operating across Spain and Portugal. With over 30 years of collaboration, the company has supported MSC Cruises´growth. In 2025, BC Cruise Services managed more than 350 port calls and facilitated shore experiences for nearly 60,000 passengers.
