Gibraltar was delighted to welcome Costa Toscana on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, marking the vessel’s first-ever call to the destination. The occasion was celebrated with a traditional plaque exchange ceremony held on board the ship, attended by the Minister for Equality, Employment, Culture and Tourism, the Hon. Christian Santos GMD MP.
As the largest ship in the Costa Crociere fleet, Costa Toscana brought more than 5,800 passengers and 1,500 crew members to Gibraltar. The call provided a welcome boost during the quieter winter period and further reinforced Gibraltar’s positioning as an attractive, year-round cruise destination.
