Porto Cruise Terminal, Port of Leixões, is very happy to welcome again cruise ships and passengers. Starting today, cruise passengers are once again welcomed at the Porto Cruise Terminal and they are ready to welcome you all and let you meet their wonderful region. The Portuguese government has just lifted the restrictions imposed on cruise ships and so cruise activity is, once again, allowed in Portuguese ports.

From 00am, this Monday, May 17, and until 11:59pm of May 30, the embarkation, disembarkation and shore leave of passengers and crew of cruise ships is allowed Portuguese ports.

Passengers should present proof of a molecular test by RT-PCR, with negative results carried out within the 72 hours prior to boarding or disembarkation. This is not applicable to children under 24 months of age.

This Order provides exceptions for countries with an incidence rate equal to or greater than 500 cases of covid-19 per 100.000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, such as Sweden, the Netherlands, Croatia, Lithuania, South Africa, Brazil and India.
