On the 22nd of April, La Palma Port hosted the handing over of the metope to Captain Eric Saint Plancat, of French nationality, on the first call of the expedition cruise ship Exploris 1, with 37 passengers (maximum capacity 110) and 95 crew members, which after sailing regularly in the area of Patagonia Argentina, Magellan Strait and Ushuaia, has crossed the Atlantic, passing through Cape Verde, the Canary Islands, and is heading for Funchal and Lisbon.
This cruise ship Exploris 1, made its first call on the 21st of April in the port of Tenerife, where metopas were exchanged between the Port Authority, represented by Luz Marina Espiau and Monica Jarque from the Commercial Department and the Captain.
