Luz Marina Moreno’s participation last week in TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 represented a key opportunity to connect global technological innovation with the real challenges of digital transformation and sustainable development.

As Head of Commercial & Business Development at the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Member of the Board of MedCruise, Luz Marina represented Why Tenerife at the event, combining institutional presence with active participation in high-level sessions and panels focused on technology and artificial intelligence.

Held at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco, the event brought together more than 10,000 leaders, investors, and technology companies from around the world.

Throughout the three-day program, Luz Marina took part in discussions on artificial intelligence, female leadership in technology, and process automation, contributing a practical perspective on how innovation is transforming the way we work, lead, and create value across industries.

Among the most relevant sessions, Luz Marina participated in the AI Stage organized by Google Cloud, focused on developing digital leaders and exploring how artificial intelligence is reshaping business management and organizational culture.

She also intervened in the international “Women in Tech” forum, which addressed the role of women in technology and the importance of promoting active and diverse participation within innovation ecosystems.

In addition, she attended the panel led by Ryan Petersen, CEO of Flexport, who highlighted how integrated logistics systems and AI-driven data management are improving efficiency and traceability across global supply chains — an approach with significant potential in the maritime and logistics sectors.
