The “Green Corridor” applies to passengers and crew members vaccinated and recovered from COVID-19, as well as those with PCR screening tests of SARS-CoV-2 infection with a negative result, performed within a maximum period of 72 hours prior to landing.

Passengers and crew must certify either via a medical document issued, up and until 90 days from the Madeira port entrance, that the holder COVID-19 antibodies, or via a document that certifies that the holder has vaccinated.

The medical document or vaccination certificate must be validated by the respective country of origin and includes: name, date of birth, number of health registration, type and date of the test, type and date of vaccine, date of the two doses taken and be in line with the immunization period according to the instructions of each vaccine.

This decision will foster economic activity and maintain Madeira’s reputation as a safe and secure destination.

The green corridor already was in force at Madeira airport for those who arrive with a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to the arrival.
