The Heraklion Port Authority S.A. (OLH), in cooperation with the Municipality of Heraklion and the Central Port Authority of Heraklion, is organizing a cleanup action as part of the pan-European #EUBeachCleanup campaign and World Cleanup Day.
The action will take place on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Dermatas Bay and will last approximately 2 hours.
Volunteers from HPA, Municipality of Heraklion, and the Coast Guard of Heraklion will participate. We extend an open invitation to all citizens, associations, schools, and organizations of the city to join us and take part actively.
With the motto “Every action counts!”, the #EUBeachCleanup calls on us to join forces to protect our sea and environment.
