Port of Ancona: six cruises in one week

The port of Ancona welcomes an exciting cruise week: from 8th to 16th May, six cruise ships are going to call the port of Ancona.

Sunday 8th May, at 9 am, there was the fifth call of MSC Fantasia, in the Doric port 22 times this season. The MSC Cruises ship departed at 3 pm for Kotor, Montenegro.

On Monday 9th May there will be the great return of Marella Explorer 2 after the stop due to the COVID-19 emergency. This will be the first of 12 calls scheduled for 2022; arriving from Ravenna, it will leave for the port of Split, Croatia, along an itinerary in the Adriatic Sea which also includes Venice and Koper in Slovenia.

On Wednesday 11th May, Azamara Onward will arrive from Dubrovnik, Croatia. The ship of the luxury fleet of Azamara Cruises will leave at 8 pm to reach Ravenna. It will return to Ancona on 13th October.

On Thursday 12th May, the new Viking Mars, built by Fincantieri in its shipyard in Ancona, will depart for its maiden voyage, starting its adventure to enjoy Viking Cruises passengers.

On Sunday 15th May, a new weekly appointment with MSC Fantasia, while on Monday 16th May, at 9 am, the Nautica will call at the port of Ancona arriving from Trieste. After a full day in the Marche region, the ship of the Oceania Cruises company will leave at 7 pm for the port of Split, Croatia.
