After the extraordinary result of last year, with 214,000 passengers in transit, in 2014 the Port of La Spezia is going to double its traffic, with more than 490,000 pax (+129%) and 183 cruise calls expected. In 2015 a new further increase is foreseen.

These excellent results are also due to the strategic location of La Spezia, which is playing a more and more important role in the Med as new cruise port, meeting special attention and interest of cruise lines.

From La Spezia you can reach amazing destinations both in Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia such as the Cinque Terre, La Spezia, Portovenere, Lerici, Sarzana, Pisa, Florence…

The new cruise pier and terminal projects, under study by the Port Authority, will allow simultaneously to accommodate two large vessels, permitting a traffic up to 900,000 pax per year.
