On April 9 2014 at 16 pm m/v HAMBURG (144 mtr Bahamas) moored at berth of Odessa passenger terminal. The ship came from Nessebar (Bulgaria) carrying 271 passengers on board and it has been staying in Odessa for 2 days.
A broad excursion program is planned for passengers. On the first day the Opera House the concert of classic music by the artists of the Philharmonic Hall and the Literary Museum was visited. On April 10 which is Odessa Liberation Day from German occupants a big number of tourists went to sightseeing tours around the city.
According to the tradition the first passenger who opened the season was presented with the souvenirs from the Odessa Sea Port Authority. As to Elvira Leshchinskaya the head of of Development & External Relations Department the souvenir fell to Mr. Klaus Langhardt 56 years ald journalist from german Braunschweig. Langhardt bought the cruise with the ship entry to Odessa for the second time because he “was astonished by the aura of the city and did want to get to know the architecture cathedrals museums more closely”…

– We have visited Odessa for 10 years every year as we are the lecturers on the board of a ship and every time we are pleased to see the way the city changes how beautiful it is. People are very kind here. We are admiring the architecture of the city just to take as an example the Opera House the Boulevard the Sobornaya Square Yekaterinenskaya square etc. We advised and we will advise our friends and family to visit this city.

– The city is very clean and people are very friendly. I enjoyed walking by foot and to see such a big number of places as the Opera House the Boulevard the cathedrals. It was for the first time that I visited Odessa and I look forward to return here again with my friends.

– I’m for the first time in Odessa but still I fell in love with the city because of its places to visit like: Yekaterinenskaya Square the Cathedral at Sobornaya square the City Garden where I watched an amazing concert yesterday. I will absolutely recommend my friends to visit this city.

– We are here for the first time. We were impressed by the architecture as it is very old but still looks great and it really differs from the other cities. We would like to visit such a beautiful city once again.

– We are for the first time in Odessa but what we understood is that there is a lot to do here. We walked round the town from The Opera House then to Philharmony up to the railway station by foot. We didn’t even count the kilometers walked. When we just arrived we were shocked by the view from the passenger terminal and right then we understood- “We love this city”. It is amazing. Also we saw a parade dedicated to the Liberation day from German’s occupants. It is unforgettable.
