On 13 September 2013 the Port of Odessa accepts six cruise ships simultaneously four ocean and two river-type vessels. The total length of the liners is over 900 m.

At 9 a.m. at the berths of the passenger terminal of the Port of Odessa there were 5 liners: The World (196 m Malta the first floating house in the world) Ocean Majesty (135 m Portugal) Silver Cloud (155 m the Bahamas) Adriana (104 m Saint Kits and Nevis vessel going on the Crimean-Caucasus itinerary) and m/v Mikhail Lomonosov (125 m Ukraine).

According to the Head of the Passenger Terminal of the Port of Odessa Nikolay Makovetskiy at 1 p.m. there will be rotation i.e. Ocean Majesty will be replaced by the river-type m/v General Vatutin (130 m Ukraine).

“Thus today the port of Odessa beats its own record on the number of passenger ships served in the port of Odessa for the day. The total length of vessels is 949 m” says Nikolay Makovetskiy.
