Port Said Port welcomes the stunning AIDA STELLA

West Port Said Port welcomed the cruise ship AIDA STELLA on 17th April .The cruise, which is owned by AIDA Cruises with length of 253 meter and draft of 7 meters, AIDA STELLA with its famous for its beautiful exterior design, carried 2,067 passengers and 648 crew members. Its passengers were scheduled to take quick excursions to both Cairo to visit archaeological land marks, especially the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum and also to visit historic sites in Port Said city such as Port Said Museum.

It is worth mentioning here that the port has undergone infrastructure upgrades including deeper drafts, berth optimization, and enhanced logistics, which have bolstered the confidence of international cruise lines and attract global investments.

“The strategic location of the port at the northern entrances of the Suez Canal and the city’s location near Cairo and Giza makes it a unique hub for cultural and recreational tourism programs in Egypt” the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) referred in a statement.

Thanks to the governorate efforts to develop the beautiful city that links two continents, the city of Port Said has witnessed many works of renovation to develop and beautify the squares and roads near the port named “Sahet Misr Development Project”.
