Cruise Saudi, a wholly owned Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, is transforming Saudi Arabia into one of the world’s premier cruise destinations. Since its launch in 2021, the company has opened the Kingdom’s shores to international cruise lines, welcoming more than 500,000 passengers from 129 nationalities across four successful seasons.

By developing a network of world-class ports and gateways on the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf, Cruise Saudi is creating seamless access to Saudi’s unique cultural, historical, and natural treasures — from UNESCO-listed Jeddah Historic District and AlAhsa Oasis to pristine islands and untouched coastlines.

With a clear vision aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, Cruise Saudi is contributing growth in the Kingdom’s tourism sector through innovation, sustainability, and partnerships with leading global cruise operators. Looking ahead, its goals include hosting 1.3 million passengers annually by 2037.

Jeddah Islamic Port – Your Homeport in Saudi

As Saudi Arabia’s primary cruise homeport, Jeddah Islamic Port offers world-class facilities and seamless services for both guests and crew. Fully equipped to provide comprehensive logistical support, the port has been upgraded to accommodate the latest generation of cruise vessels, including Quantum Class ships.

Adhering to international ISPS and safety standards, the port ensures smooth, efficient, and secure operations. Strategically located at the heart of the Red Sea, Jeddah blends modern infrastructure with cultural richness, making it the natural gateway for travelers to explore Saudi Arabia’s heritage, contemporary experiences, and the Holy Cities of Makkah (65 km) and Madinah (360 km).

  1. Jeddah Islamic Port – Red Sea

Jeddah Islamic Port hosts the Kingdom’s first dedicated cruise terminal. Today it serves as a homeport for both large and small vessels, offering guests access to the cosmopolitan city of Jeddah and its UNESCO-listed Historic District, as well as onward journeys to the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah.

 

  1. Yanbu Commercial Port – Red Sea

A laid-back coastal port with deep historical roots, Yanbu is the gateway to the Red Sea’s vibrant marine life and pristine natural beauty. Its proximity to major Saudi cities makes it an ideal Red Sea port of call for cruise itineraries.

 

  1. Saba Beach, Jabal Al-Sabaya – Red Sea

Launched in December 2024, Saba Beach is Saudi Arabia’s first private cruise island. Exclusively for cruise guests, it accommodates up to 3,000 visitors and offers cabanas, F&B outlets, spa facilities, and water and land activities—blending relaxation with authentic Arabian hospitality.

 

  1. Baridi Island – Red Sea

Located near Yanbu, this uninhabited island is a haven for divers and nature lovers, renowned for its turquoise waters, coral reefs, and untouched natural beauty.

Jeddah Islamic Port provides a full suite of marine and terminal services to support cruise vessels, including:

  • Heavy lifting with floating cranes (200 tons)
