The Port Network Authority of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea includes the ports of Naples, Salerno and Castellammare di Stabia, that welcomes the most  beautiful cruise ships sailing in the Mediterranean and provides them fast and multi-functional services. The Port of Naples possess a privileged location, in the centre of the city in direct contact with the archeological sites of PompeiiHerculaneum and Flegrean Fields, as well as the wonders of Sorrento and the island of the Bay of Naples, Capri, Ischia and Procida. Naples is a metropolis that combines art, history and tradition. Cruisers dock at the Molo Angioino pier, where the Maritime Terminal is located. The imposing building, which mixes Classicism with Inter-war Modernism, was built between 1933 and 1936 when Naples was considered a key port for liner traffic in the Mediterranean Sea. Over the course of time, the Maritime station has been restructured in order to host the new big ships that accommodate more than 1 million cruise passengers annually, ensuring high standards of reception and services.

The new Passenger Terminal of the Port of Salerno, with the Maritime Station designed by archistar Zaha Hadid, is located a few steps away from Salerno, a modern and hospitable city, in the centre of a touristic district with a high landscape, historical, cultural and archaeological value of international importance, so much so that three geographic areas declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO: the Amalfitan Coast with 37km of coastline from Vietri sul Mare to Positano; the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano with the Archaeological areas of Paestum and Velia; the Archaeological areas of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Torre Annunziata.

The Port of Castellammare di Stabia, thanks to its proximity to the Sorrento Coast and the archaeological sites of Ercolano and Torre Annunziata, since 2008 has been attracting more and more the docking of small cruise ships. The privileged position of the town and the proximity to major tourist attractions has allowed, at the same time, the increasing presence of pleasure boats. The Port of Naples is a recipient of the Biosafety Trust Certification by RINA.
