History

The VAR PROVENCE CRUISE CLUB (VPCC) has been launched in 2008 by the Var Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Var CCI) and the Var General Council, and is currently managed by the Var CCI’s team. The Var Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a public body that helps companies to settle and develop their businesses in the Var Provence area; the Var CCI manages the activities of the Ports of Toulon bay (Cruise, Ferry, Freight, Marina).

Philosophy

To enhance the cruise guest experience ashore, the VPCC team has developed a catalogue of more than 100 innovative immersive shore excursion ideas. Fabulous ecotours are now available in tune with today’s trend in favor of sustainability : e-biking tours in the vineyard, kayaking and birdwatching, hiking in pristine forests. Gastronomy tours are also very popular and Var Provence offers an array of local products tasting sessions and workshops.
