What do we do?

The Tourist Promotion area is responsible for implementing Tenerife’s tourist strategy according to the different markets from which the Island receives travellers, as well as the products to be promoted in each of them.

Among its functions are those of cooperating with the different interlocutors of the tourist sector with the aim of creating synergies that help to improve the promotion of Tenerife in the issuing markets.

Agreements, promotional actions and campaigns with tourist intermediaries, travel agencies, tour operators and airlines are also part of its work, for which it participates and follows up on workshops and presentations, attends trade fairs and organizes familiarization trips for professionals and specialized press.

No less important is the design of communication campaigns, the carrying out of public relations and loyalty activities in the issuing markets, the design of Tenerife’s image in the various promotional supports and the organisation and sponsorship of tourist events.
