The Barcelona Port Authority has named Mar Pérez as head of its cruise department, officially taking on the position vacated by Carla Salvadό, who earlier this year joined Global Ports Holding as director of cruise marketing.
Pérez is also named as the port’s representative on MedCruise’s board of directors.
Pérez has worked in port of Barcelona’s cruise department since March 2009, responsible for relations with cruise lines, ship agents and the port’s cruise terminal managers.
She first joined the port authority in 1998, working initially in the public relations, marketing and commercial departments and holds a Master’s degree in marketing from the University of Barcelona.
