Founded in 1996, Cruise Marseille Provence Association unites key stakeholders to support the sustainable growth of the cruise industry in Marseille and Provence. With 100 private and institutional members, we act as a bridge between cruise lines, local communities, and economic players.
We proudly position Marseille Provence as a premier all-in-one cruise destination, fostering collaboration for the benefit of the territory and the best guest experience.
France’s leading cruise port with 2.4 millions cruise passengers welcomed in 2024, Marseille is committed to offer the best services to cruise lines.
The Marseille Provence Cruise Terminal (MPCT) will be shore power ready in early 2026 with 4 berths equipped and it will be possible to connect 3 cruise ships simultaneously with green electricity.
Ship-to-ship LNG bunkering is also available without forgetting Marseille’s shipyards and its 3 dry docks, including Dry Dock 10, the largest in the Med!
Ideally situated in the historic center and totally apart from the main terminal, La Joliette terminal (J4) is exclusively dedicated to small and luxury cruise ships. It will be shore power ready by the end of 2027.
The association manages the flows of coaches in the city center and develops new and exclusive tours in Provence for guests and local community satisfaction (workshops, tastings, active tours, etc.).
Marseille Provence territory is easily accessible thanks to its international airport and train
station, and offers a large range of accommodation, venues and itineraries to propose pre or post cruise stays and overlands.
Major sites, exhibitions and Provencal highlights accessible within one hour from the port, such as Luberon, the Alpilles’ hilltop villages or the Camargue wildlife, are waiting for you!
The Cruise Marseille Provence unveils the 2020 online version of its promotion and development tool, the “Log Book” for cruise and tourism professionals.
This document offers, in a funny and intuitive brochure, more than 150 excursion ideas to discover the Marseille Provence territory, through maps dedicated to each destination, while being on a call or on a pre/post cruise stay. It also lists all the practical information of embarking for an ocean or river cruise.
